I had a very positive experience with Office Concepts now Forward Space. Office Concepts’ showroom / main office is straight out of a Steelcase brochure, modern and professional. Greg Fordon, the account executive (i.e. salesman) I worked with was extremely helpful. I never felt like he was “selling”, he listened to me and gathered several chairs for me to compare without too much gabbing.
As a professional economist, what is most important to me is making good use of my time and money. After selecting the Steelcase Gesture chair, I contacted several other dealers asking for quotes for a specific set of specifications. OfficeDesigns in Northbrook, where I had purchased a $1,500 Knoll Life chair a few years ago quoted me their “best price” of almost $500 more than Office Concepts. Everyone else’s price was significantly more than Office Concepts’.
The customer service I received after making my order was exemplary. Greg replied to most of my emails within minutes and when we ran into an issue with Fedex’s delivery, he offered to have to chair immediately picked up from the Fedex center and delivered to me ahead of the Fedex truck. Since my chair was delivered fully assembled, I cannot comment on Forward Space’s assembly crew. What I can say is that their selection, prices, and customer service exceeded my expectations
